Home Sweet Vineyard!
Our two story, 1884 Gingerbread Cottage, "Knickerbocker," is tucked in on Rock Avenue and a stone's throw to Campground activities, the ferry and harbor, beaches, and Circuit Ave and Kennebec Ave shops & dining. Newly renovated downstairs in 2022! Kitchen, bathroom and full house AC! There are three upstairs bedrooms (set of bunk beds, 2 twin beds and a queen bed) with a front balcony, a living room, fully equipped eat-in kitchen (range, oven, toaster oven, coffee, microwave, dishwasher), and separate utility room with washer and dryer. The full bath includes a bathtub and shower. A mahogany outdoor shower is also available immediately off the large deck. The cottage is one of three in the campground with a deck like this and it’s yours to enjoy with a table and chairs for 6 and propane BBQ grill for cooking! Newly added Split HVAC system in 2022. The upstairs unit is in the rear bedroom and cools the entire upstairs if bedroom doors are left open and the door at the top of the stairs is closed. ** You bring your own linens – sheets/pillowcases, bath and beach towels. Owner supplies pillows, blankets, and beach gear (chairs and umbrella available). TV and WiFi included (ability to log into your own Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu account as well). Assigned parking for 1 vehicle is available in the campground (you will need a guest permit to use our assigned spot - it is a few minutes walk from the cottage). The Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority bus system operates year-round and is a cost-effective and easy way to get around the island. Taxis/Uber/Lyft are also readily available. The home comfortably sleeps 6 in the bedrooms (exception: infants and children in pack and plays). Sorry, NO pets or smoking allowed!! |
